Welcome to Turbine Rescue Solutions. TRS is a new company formed in 2023 with the aim of making wind turbine technician’s competent in their secondary role as emergency first responder.  This will ensure the best possible outcome is always achieved in the event of an emergency.

Wind power is playing a pivotal role in the quest to achieve net-zero emissions.  The exponential growth of the wind industry is producing high demand for the role of wind turbine technician.

It is the duty of the employer to maintain a sufficiently skilled and competent workforce.  This includes the technician’s secondary role of emergency first responder.    

The driver for emergency planning must be compliance with applicable legislation.  Employers have a duty of care for their employees in the event of an emergency.

The importance of effective planning cannot be overstated.  Creating a rescue plan, providing medical and rescue equipment, and completing training does not necessarily make you compliant with legislation.
